Cease and Desist
I noticed today that a certain Radu Dragulescu of Timisoara, Romania, had copied some of my blog entries to his site, Yamzy Network.
Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, I fired off a cease and desist e-mail and registered postal letter to him requiring him under the laws of the European Union and/or Romania to, well, cease and desist his nefarious activities of copying my writings and research results to his site.
For example:
- Page titled “MM tzai SI” at http://yamzy.net/2007/3/30/mm-tzai-si.htm is a direct copy of the page titled “MM tzai SI” at http://blog.kaivilmi.com/2006/mm-tzai-si/
- Page titled “Jolly Roger” at http://yamzy.net/2007/3/30/jolly-roger.htm is a direct copy of the page titled “Jolly Roger” at http://blog.kaivilmi.com/2006/jolly-roger/
I gave that gentleman until 7 August 2007 to sort this thing out, and, if I have not received any “affirmative response” indicating he is fully complying with my requirements, “I shall take further action”.
O Tempora, O Mores!
UPDATE 2008-01-09: The Yamzy Network site seems to be out of service.
